Got Rich Land Worth Preserving? Mendham Might Want To Buy It
The Mendham Township Open Space Trust Committee has expressed interest in purchasing land for preservation efforts.
MENDHAM TOWNSHIP, NJ — The Mendham Township Open Space Trust Committee has expressed interest in purchasing environmentally rich parcels of land from local property owners.
The move is part of the township’s effort to preserve large tracts of “land with important environmental attributes.”
The Mendham Township Open Space Trust Committee says it will purchase the property for fair market value through a program that can “reduce or omit costs associated with a sale,” while providing additional tax benefits.
