Wind Advisory Issued For Morris County
A severe storm was detected nearby that could bring 40 mph wind gusts to sections of Morris County on Tuesday.
MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a special weather statement for Tuesday evening, predicting a wet and windy afternoon in parts of Morris County.
The warning encompasses western Morris, northeastern Hunterdon, Sussex, Warren, northwestern Somerset, eastern Monroe and northeastern Northampton counties. The warning is in effect through Tuesday evening, according to the National Weather Service.
Wind gusts of up to 40 mph are expected, as well as pea-sized hail, forecasters said.

Minor damage to vehicles and wind damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is possible.
