How Many Inches Of Snow Are Mendham, Chester Getting, And When?
The NWS has updated its snow prediction for the Mendham and Chester areas, with the towns providing important storm information.
MENDHAM, NJ — The National Weather Service says that the snowstorm predicted to hit the Northeast overnight is likely to drop 3-5 inches on Mendham and Chester between midnight and 9 a.m. Friday.
Governor Phil Murphy declared a state of emergency beginning on Thursday at 10 p.m., ahead of the storm.

The NWS Forecast For Mendham and Chester:
Thursday Night: Snow, mainly after 1am. Low around 25. Calm wind becoming north around 5 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total nighttime snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.

Friday: Snow likely, mainly before 9am. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 32. West wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 16. Northwest wind around 10 mph.
