New Video Shows Response To Massive Sink Hole In New Jersey
Videos obtained by ABC News show officials' response to the I-80 sinkhole.

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — Footage has been released showing authorities’ response to the sinkhole that opened up eastbound on I-80 last December, ABC News reports.
The ABC News footage shows New Jersey State Police setting up road flares to keep traffic away from the sinkhole, which was caused by a collapsed mining shaft on Dec. 26, 2024.
Roadways were partially reopened last week as the New Jersey Department of Transportation continues to make repairs. The DOT expects all lanes of traffic to be open on June 25.
