Off-Leash Dog Attacked Another In A Mendham Boro Park

Police are reminding residents to keep their dogs on leashes.

MENDHAM BOROUGH, NJ — An off-leash dog attacked and injured another in a Mendham Borough park earlier this month, police said.

The attack happened on Dec. 4 in Indian Brook Park. Police say the off-leash dog attacked a dog that was being walked on-leash by its owner.

The owner of the off-leash dog was charged with a municipal ordinance violation for failing to have the dog on a leash.
