Man Airlifted From Chester After Fall From Ladder, Head Injury

The 29-year-old took a tumble while working on Main Street, officials said.

CHESTER, NJ - A 29-year-old man was flown to the hospital after a fall from a ladder on Main Street in Chester Monday afternoon, according to authorities.

Just before 1 p.m. Anthony Litterini the Lake Hopatcong resident had been working maintenance at 86 Main Street, next to the Chester Fire Company, when he fell from the ladder and sustained a head injury, authorities said.

The Chester First Aid Squad was called, and Atlantic Health Services responded to the scene and stabilized Litterini, who was then flown to the Morristown Medical Center via the Atlantic Medevac for treatment.

Assistance on the call was provided by members of the Chester Police Department and the Chester Volunteer Fire Company.

Due to Litterini's patient status, no other information is being released at this time.
