Mark Your Calendar For Chester's 'Movie Under The Stars'

Bid farewell to summer by bringing the family out for a fun evening featuring a free movie in Chester Borough.

CHESTER, NJ — Chester residents are invited to say goodbye to summer with one last movie under the stars.

The free outdoor movie, hosted by Chester Recreation, begins at 7 p.m. on Sept. 14 at the Municipal Field gazebo (155 Main St., Chester, NJ 07930). All ages are welcome, and guests are encouraged to bring blankets or low-back lawn chairs for seating.

"Bring your friends, a chair, and some movie snacks," Chester Recreation said.

The movie scheduled for screening is the Pixar classic "Coco," which follows the adventures of a young boy named Miguel, who, after being accidentally transported to the Land of the Dead, embarks on a journey through Mexico’s vibrant afterlife.

The run time is 1 hour, 45 minutes and it has a PG rating.
