CHESTER, NJ — A community celebration of all things Chester will return for 2024, with officials planning a May date for Chester Day.

The once-a-year free event is intended to provide an opportunity for all Chester residents – Borough and Township – to celebrate and give back to the community. Last year, it took place on Earth Day and neighbors volunteered for several beautification projects around the Chesters before an afternoon celebration.

Chester Day 2024 will take place on Saturday, May 4 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., said borough officials in a short announcement. More information is set to follow.
