Mendham Open Space Committee Seeks Volunteers

Members will provide feedback and recommendations to the town on the future use of the open space tax.

MENDHAM, NJ - Do you want to make a difference in Mendham? Here’s your chance.

The Mendham Township Open Space Committee is seeking new members to provide feedback and recommendations to the Township Committee on the future use of the open space tax.

All residents are welcome to apply, but residents who are not currently involved in local government are especially encouraged to apply “in the interest of obtaining fresh perspectives,” officials said.

The Open Space Committee consists of 11 total members (including two alternates): a member from the Planning Board, Environmental Commission, Recreation Committee, Historic Preservation Committee, Township Committee members and six at-large residents.

Interested applicants must send a resume/letter of interest to the attention of the township clerk’s office at mtclerk@mendhamtownship.org by Sept. 7, 2023.
