Mendham Student Reps Sought For Township Subcommittees

Mendham high schoolers and middle schoolers who are at least 14-year-old may apply to represent young residents in town, officials said.

MENDHAM, NJ - Mendham officials are seeking volunteers to represent some of the town’s youngest residents.

Mendham high schoolers and middle schoolers who are at least 14-year-old may apply for one-year terms on three subcommittees: the Environmental Commission, Historic Preservation Committee and the Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee.

Public, private, and home-schooled students may apply so long as the teen resides in Mendham Township. Terms will begin Oct. 1st.

Applicants must send an email by Friday, Sept. 8 to Acting Township Clerk Karen Orgera - mtclerk@mendhamtownship.org stating why they are interested in being appointed.

Relevant experience and subcommittee choice must be included in the email application.
