In pleading guilty, McDonough admitted to having a sexual relationship with a male student, 18, during the spring of 2014 in Mt. Olive on two separate occasions, Knapp said.
As a result of the deal, all other charges from the indictment have been dropped. McDonough will serve three years of pre-trial intervention and have to relinquish her teaching certificates, immediately resign her teaching position with the West Morris Regional High School District, and permanent disqualification from public employment.
