Mendham Township Police Stress Bike Safety For Fall
While it may be a beautiful time to be out, authorities want residents to do it safely.
MENDHAM, NJ - While it may be the perfect time of year to get out and enjoy Mendham's fall scenery, the Mendham Township Police want to make sure residents do so safely.
"One of the many activities that emphasizes this is riding your bike," police said in a statement.
While riding, there are multiple safety guidelines that should be followed in order to protect you and other motorists:

- Always wear a helmet
- Check your bike and other related equipment prior to going on your ride
- Go with the flow of traffic, not against it
- Obey the rules of the road
To hammer the point home, officials shared a video they like to use as a safety reminder.
