Mendham Township Principal Awarded Doctorate Degree
Julianne K. Kotcho of Mendham Township Elementary School, finished her doctoral studies, according to the district's superintendent.
MENDHAM, NJ — Mendham Township School District’s Superintendent of Schools offered his congratulations to the district’s elementary school principal, on earning her doctorate.
Superintendent Dr. Salvatore M. Constantino congratulated newly-awarded Principal Dr. Julianne K. Kotcho of Mendham Township Elementary School, recognizing her this past Tuesday for her achievement.
“This is a tremendous accomplishment, requiring insightfulness, perseverance and dedication,” Constantino wrote in a message on the district’s social media page.

“To receive a doctorate is a great personal and professional milestone in someone’s life,” Constantino added.

According to Kotcho’s LinkedIn profile, she’s been principal at the elementary school since 2013, the school designated in 2019 a “National Blue Ribbon School” as an “exemplary high-performing school."
Prior to that, she served as a principal in Great Meadows and Mountain Lakes. Before working as an Assistant Principal with the Bernards Township Schools, she was a teacher in both Bridgewater-Raritan and Dunellen.
