Men's Cancer Screening Coming Up For For Chester, Roxbury Residents

An upcoming screening offers several tests for some of the cancer types which most commonly affect men. See more details below:

CHESTER, NJ — The Roxbury Health Department is offering a free cancer screening to male residents in Chester Township and Roxbury next Friday, June 5.

This comprehensive screening includes a rectal exam, breast exam, prostate-specific antigen (PSA) blood test, urinalysis, blood pressure screening, and testing for blood in the stool. Health education counseling is also available.

This cancer screening is on Friday, June 5 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Morristown Medical Center Health Pavilion, 333 Mount Hope Avenue, Rockaway NJ.

The fee is $45 for residents under 64, and $40 for residents aged 65 and up.

The health department also held a women's cancer screening on May 21.
