Movies Under The Stars In Mendham Borough: Schedule Updated

MENDHAM, NJ — Due to the rainy summer, some borough events, including the much-anticipated Summer Drive-In Movie in the Park, have had to be rescheduled.

Residents have been waiting for the new movie date since it was postponed on July 27 to snuggle up under the stars and enjoy a great movie with their friends and family.

The wait is nearly over as the new date is planned for Thursday, Aug. 17 at Borough Park. Weather permitting, residents can head over to the park at 8:30 p.m. for a special drive-in showing of "Minions the Rise of Gru."

The movie event is completely free for all local residents and families are encouraged to bring blankets and snacks.

The community event is sponsored by Law Enforcement Against Drugs and Violence (L.E.A.D.), which is a non-profit organization supported by police officers dedicated to protecting youth and communities from the proliferation of drugs, drug-related crimes, peer-to-peer/cyberbullying, and violence.
