MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — Another weekend is here, Morris County! If you've had your fill of fireworks for the season but still want something to do, we've got a few ideas.

There's another hot weekend in the forecast and some storms possible Saturday in Morris County, so we recommend making sure you check the weather before you head out to make sure you grab the right gear.

Here are some ideas for things to do around the county on Saturday, July 6 and Sunday, July 7.

Live music at the "Truck Band Stand" at Alstede Farms (all weekend)

  • Where: 1 Alstede Farms Lane, Chester
  • When: Friday-Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Tickets: None needed (area located near farm store and pavilion)

"As You Like It" presented by the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey (all weekend)

  • Where: Outdoor Stage of Saint Elizabeth University, 2 Convent Road, Morristown.
  • When: Friday-Saturday at 8 p.m., and Sunday at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.
  • Tickets: $40-45 (free for those under the age of 18)

Farmers' markets in Morris Plains (Saturday) and Morristown (Sunday)

  • Where: In Morris Plains, at 771 Speedwell Avenue; in Morristown, at Spring and Morris Streets.
