NJ Middle School Teacher Sent Sexually Explicit Material To Minor He Met Gaming
The 26-year-old was arrested in his home on Tuesday.
UNION CITY, NJ — A 26-year-old Middle School teacher is facing charges after he sent sexually explicit material to a minor he met online gaming, according to Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez.
Juan Sanchez Moya, of Union City, is charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child in the first and third degree as well as Distributing Obscene Material to a Person Under 18, a crime of the third degree. Moya, a West New York Middle School teacher, was arrested at his home Tuesday.
The 17-year-old victim reported meeting the defendant through an online gaming program and authorities said the defendant exchanged sexually explicit material with the victim.

The crimes did not occur at the West New York Middle School and the victim is not a student in the district, officials noted.
Moya was transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility pending his first court appearance.
