North evens series 16-16-2 in 54-8 victory at Kean University.
The North football all-stars dominated their peers from South Jersey Monday night en route to a 54-8 victory in the 54st annual North vs. South All-Star High School Football Classic at Kean University.
Akrum Wadley of Newark's Weequahic High School and Marquise Watson of Paramus Catholic starred for the North, earning offensive and defensive MVP nods, respectively. Dylan Dobzanski of Delsea Regional High School (Franklinville) earned South defensive MVP honors, while Cameron Nash of Piscataway starred on offense.
The North pulled out to a 24-0 lead in the first quarter, and the game was never in question. Nash busted outside for a 72-yard run on the first play from scrimmage for the South but the offense stalled in the red zone and came away with nothing.
