Person Struck By NJT Train In Morris Co.
The man was taken to the hospital with injuries, a spokesperson said.

DOVER, NJ — A person was struck and injured by a New Jersey Transit Train during rush hour Thursday evening, a New Jersey Transit spokesperson said.
An adult male was hit on the tracks around 6:05 p.m. just outside the Dover Rail Station, Jim Smith said. The man was alert and awake, and was taken to Morristown Memorial Hospital with facial and "other unknown injuries."
None of the 45 crew or customers on the train were injured, Smith said. The train departed from Hoboken around 4:30 p.m. and had been set to arrive in Hackettstown by 6:40 p.m.

The crash caused long delays on the Morris & Essex line during the rush hour; at one point, delays were as long as an hour. The line was running normally by 9:30 p.m.
