MENDHAM, NJ — As residents and businesses in Mendham and Chester are picking up the remaining pieces after Ida roared through this past Wednesday, Mendham Borough Mayor Christine Serrano Glassner posted a special message for all of the borough’s first responders.
Serrano Glassner asked if residents could thank members of Mendham Borough’s Police Department, Fire Department, First Aid Squad, Office of Emergency Management, Department of Public Works and Water Reclamation Facility.
Throughout the night of the storm as Ida dropped over six inches of rain in the Mendham and Chester areas, all of these first responders worked tirelessly, Serrano Glassner explained in a news release on the borough’s website on Friday.
