As a result: All east bound traffic on West Main will be rerouted up Cherry Lane. All north bound traffic on Cherry Lane will be rerouted westbound onto West Main. No eastbound traffic onto East Main St will be allowed. Westbound traffic on East Main will flow with a lane shift near the post office, and go to either Cherry Lane or West Main Street, since there is no access to Woodland Road.

Police said to plan on the closures and detours being in place until at least 5 p.m. Thursday, "but the hope is that it will be done sooner."
