CHESTER, NJ — A new list from U.S. News and World Report ranked all of New Jersey’s public high schools based on several factors, including West Morris Central High School.

The rankings were based on college readiness, state assessment proficiency, state assessment performance, underserved student performance (students who are Black, Hispanic, and from low-income households), college curriculum breadth, and graduation rates when making its school rankings.

West Morris Central’s percentile score on NJ Student Learning Assessments came in at 84.9 percent, which is “somewhat above expectations,” according to the report.
