MENDHAM TOWNSHIP, NJ — A large sinkhole has closed a road in Mendham Township Friday afternoon, township police said. The sinkhole opened up on Mount Pleasant Road sometime before 1:30 p.m. The road is closed between Harmony Lane and Schoolhouse Road, and repairs are underway.
