Summer Drive-In Movie Event Returns To Mendham Thursday

MENDHAM, NJ — Get your popcorn and bug spray ready, because Mendham Borough is hosting a free summer movie drive-in Thursday.

Mendham Borough will co-sponsor a fun outdoor movie event for the entire family on July 27. "Minions: Rise of Gru" will be shown for free at Borough Park beginning at 8:30 p.m.

This movie event is Co-sponsored by Law Enforcement Against Drugs (LEAD) and is open to all Mendham residents.

Mendham Creamery will be proving sweet treats for all moviegoers, according to borough officials.

In the 1970s, before he was the super villain he is today, a young Gru tries to join a group of super villains called the Vicious 6 after they oust their leader -- the legendary fighter Wild Knuckles. When the interview turns disastrous, Gru and his Minions go on the run, with the Vicious 6 hot on their tails.
