Tamasi Looking To Keep Her Seat On Mendham Twp. Board of Ed.
Tamasi is seeking election to the Mendham Township Board of Education.
MENDHAM TOWNSHIP, NJ — Liz Tamasi, incumbent on the Mendham Township Board of Education, has announced her election campaign.
Tamasi is seeking a three-year term on the Township’s Board of Education. She currently works on the board’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) committee, the Operations & Finance committee, the Personnel & Human Resources committee, and serves as Liaison to the Township Committee.
“Over the past term, we have prioritized the needs of both students and educators, managed our budget responsibly, and ensured our policies reflect the values and priorities of the Mendham Township community,” Tamasi said. “But there is always more work to do. I
respectfully ask for your vote to continue this important work.”

Outside of education, Tamasi has over 20 years of experience working in healthcare management, including at entities such as Johns Hopkins. Throughout her career, she’s focused on budget development, oversight, and staff management, experiences she intends to bring back to the Mendham Township BOE.
Tamasi has also worked for Mendham Township outside of her Board of Ed. capacity. She works with Mendham's Stigma Free Task Force, organizing the Stomp Out the Stigma Walk that raises awareness and funds to “develop and participate in a variety of wellness and education programs benefitting our schools, seniors, Borough and Township residents and families.”

“Serving on the Board of Education has been an incredible honor and a responsibility I take very seriously,” Tamasi said on her campaign website. “I am committed to continuing to serve our community with integrity, transparency, and dedication. I respectfully ask for your vote to continue this important work on behalf of our students, educators, and families.”
Also on the ballot for the Mendham Township Board of Ed. are Christina Klausner, Diana Orban Brown, Allison Barrat, and Kathleen McCallum. There are three seats up for grabs.
Election Day is Nov. 4.
