Tiny Dog Lost In Chester, Out-Of-Town Family Seeks Help

Dog owners were visiting family members in Chester when the chihuahua/dachsund mix ran away.

CHESTER, N.J. – One family from Vermont visiting loved ones in Chester have run into an urgent and harrowing scenario: their eight-pound Chihuahua/dachsund mix ran away.

The dog took off at 11 a.m. on March 12 on Pleasant Hill Road near the cemetery, the family states in a flyer being posted around town.

The pup is shy, afraid of men, and will run if chased.

“If she can get into a house with food, that would be the ideal scenario,” the flyer reads.

She was last seen early Tuesday afternoon crossing Rt. 206 headed toward the Strong Together Chester CrossFit facility in the Chester Springs Shopping Mall.
