Tesla Crashes Into Mendham Post Office, Fire Department Says
Officials were summoned to the scene Wednesday to check the structural integrity of the building.
MENDHAM, NJ - A Tesla crashed into the Mendham post office Wednesday afternoon, leaving a dent of cracked bricks on one side of the building.
Shortly after noon, the Mendham Fire Department received a report of a “vehicle vs. building” on Tempe Wick Road, fire officials said in a statement.
At the scene, fire officials secured the Tesla and called on the appropriate borough construction official to inspect the structural integrity of the post office building.

The post office is still open and operating despite the damage, fire officials told Patch.
Three individuals involved in the crash were evaluated by the Mendham First Aid Squad and refused further medical assistance.

Fire officials remained on scene until the vehicle was removed by a tow truck.
