As of Monday morning, candidate Matthew Downs had not yet responded to the League’s forum invitation, Davis said.

Additionally, though Carolina Rodriguez remains on the Morris County Clerk’s list of candidates, the County Clerk’s Office told Davis that Rodriguez is on the ballot, but is no longer participating in the race. As of Monday, Patch is awaiting a response from Rodriguez to confirm her candidacy.

The forum will be overseen by a trained moderator on behalf of the League, but from outside of the district, Davis said.
