Where To Find The Upcoming Flu Shot Clinics In Chester, Mendham
Where are the 2021 flu shot clinics for Mendham and Chester residents? Find out here where to go and what's needed for an appointment.
CHESTER, NJ — Residents from Chester and Mendham can take advantage of several upcoming flu shot clinic opportunities around the area.
For Chester Borough and Mendham Borough
The Bernards Township Health Department, the department that includes residents of Chester and Mendham Boroughs, has several upcoming flu shot clinics that don’t require appointments; and are geared for ages four and up.
Bernards Health Department recommends to those who would like a flu shot, to first speak with their doctors; and states that the flu shots administered are of the quadrivalent vaccine type. The cost per shot at the clinic are $25 each per resident and $35 for non-residents, with shots no charge for those carrying a valid Medicare Part B card.

The dates, times and locations for the Bernards clinics are as follows:
- Wednesday, Oct. 13 from 9 to 11 a.m. at St. James Church, 184 South Finley Avenue in Basking Ridge
- Thursday, Oct. 14 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Chester Field House, 107 Seminary Avenue in Chester
- Friday, Oct. 15 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Peapack-Gladstone Borough Hall, 1 School Street in Peapack
- Thursday, Oct. 21 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Bernardsville Library, 1 Anderson Hill Road in Bernardsville

For Chester Township
Chester Township has shared health services with Washington Township. Chester Township residents can get a flu shot through the Long Valley Pharmacy at 62 East Mill Road during a clinic on Thursday, Oct. 14 from 3 to 7 p.m. No appointment is needed for this clinic for quadrivalent and high dose vaccines. Residents should bring proof of insurance or Medicare Part B coverage. The cost for those without insurance will be $35 and the high dose for seniors older than 65 without insurance is $60.

Mendham Township
Mendham Township residents can book an appointment now for the township’s flu shot clinic, which runs from 3 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 14.
The clinic will take place at the EMS Bay on 2 West Main Street in Brookside.
Residents will need to call 973-285-6063 to make an appointment for this clinic.
There is no charge for residents ages 65 and up, but the cost of a vaccine per resident between 18 to 64 is $45.
For those who need to pay, cash payments are accepted or by check payable to the “Township of Mendham.” Residents 65 and older will need to bring their Medicare Part B cards with them.
