Card is accused of preventing his arrest by kicking and throwing punches at Patrolman Zudonyi, and ripping the officer’s shirt. He also is alleged to have busted Sgt. Doherty’s sunglasses while they two officers attempted to subdue him.

Card is then alleged in court documents to have told the officers, “I am going to kill you when I get up,” and then proceeded to spit on the windows inside the patrol car once he was secured in the vehicle.

Card received a total of seven charges, including Harassment, Terrorist Threats, Resisting Arrest, and three Aggravated Assault charges against the officers.

He was brought to the Monmouth County Correctional Institute in lieu of $30,000 bail, without a 10% posting option. His first court appearance is scheduled on November 17.

Despite these charges, every defendant is presumed innocent, unless and until found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, following a trial at which the defendant has all of the trial rights guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution and State law.
