Tuesday marks the final day Middletown property owners can pay their taxes without an interest charge.  Payments made before 4 p.m. on Nov. 12 will avoid the additional fee, according to the <a href="http://www.middletownnj.org/calendar" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">township's online calendar</a>. Certified funds such as checks, money orders or cash are required for tax payments after Tuesday—the township has said that credit card payments cannot be accepted after Nov. 12.  More information on taxes, including a link to make an online payment,  <a href="http://www.middletownnj.org/content/tax.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">is available on Middletown's Tax Collection web page</a>.  The tax office can be reached by phone at 732-615-2086.
