Beer Bottle Allegedly Used as a Weapon in Keansburg Incident
Keansburg Police arrested and charged a resident with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
A Keansburg man was arrested on multiple charges over the weekend after allegedly striking another man with a beer bottle.
Justin D. Martin, 21, of Keansburg was arrested Sunday, May 27 and was charged with aggravated assault by use of a deadly weapon, knowingly possessing a weapon, and using the weapon in an inappropriate circumstance.
According to the complaint warrant, Martin allegedly stuck William Geiger (2nd) on the left side of his neck with a beer bottle and caused a laceration.

Martin has been remanded to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution on $15,000 bail. Patrolman Joseph Jankowski of the Keansburg Police Department was the arresting officer.
