Belford Man Indicted on Burglary and Theft Charges

A Monmouth County Grand Jury has voted to indict a Belford man on charges he broke into a home and took $200 cash on April 2. 

Lawrence Porter, 25, of Center Avenue in Belford faces one count of third-degree burglary and one count of fourth-degree theft. 

The May 21 indictment is not a finding of guilt or a conviction, but is merely a formal charge.
