It's the first time a festival like this has been held on the beach in Keansburg, and organizers say they hope to make Bayzara an annual event.

"Our objective is to create a music and art event that we continue to grow yearly, as we encourage people to visit and explore the beauty of the Bay, and discover the fabulous things to do here in Monmouth County," said Bayzara organizers.

The festival starts at noon both days. Festival hours are noon - 10 p.m. Saturday, and noon - 9 p.m. Sunday. Bayzara says it's a family-friendly event, with children under 10 admitted free.

They'll have aerial acrobats giving three performances each day and a Ghostbusters Slime Lab - Meet the NYC Ghostbusters, pose with the iconic ECTO car and let kids get slimy. There will also be more than 10 food trucks and drink vendors. Premium ticket holders will enjoy access to elevated beverage lounges and specialty vendor zones.

The festival is projected to attract thousands of attendees. Look for tables from local food vendors, New Jersey-based artists and local/regional businesses.
