Buckle Up for the Worst Potholes in Middletown

Nothing puts a dent in a morning commute like bad traffic and a street littered with potholes.

Blizzard 2016 left monumental snowfalls up and down the east coast, and Middletown was not immune to its wrath.

Large snowfalls compiled with El Niño-induced warmer temperatures have caused more potholes and road problems than most motorists can stomach.

Patch readers gave us a rundown of particularly pocked streets in their neighborhoods. Here are some spots that might be worth detouring:

• “Bayshore side of Middletown Township”

• “Chapel Hill Rd. from Kings Highway east all the way to Mount Oliver Cemetery. Been this way for years!”

• “Cooper Rd. is awful.”

• “Oak Hill Rd. is one pothole after another.”

• Cherry Tree Farm Rd.
