MIDDLETOWN, NJ — A car crashed into the Middletown Post Office on Rt. 35 Tuesday afternoon, according to multiple media reports.The car drove into the post office at approximately 2 p.m. Tuesday, reported <a href="https://newjersey.news12.com/police-car-crashes-into-middletown-post-office-on-route-35" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">News 12</a>, which has video of the car inside the building.The driver mistook the gas pedal for the brake pedal and accelerated, crashing through the front door, News 12 reported.The driver was not injured and, while there were people inside the post office at the time, they were not injured.
