Join the second in MTPL’s three-part winter Financial Fitness series with M&T Bank on Tuesday, February 11 at 4:30 p.m. Banker Ryan Heitt will lead a session on budgeting basics. Registration is recommended, not required at mtpl.org.

Mysteries of the 1777 Battle of Navesink

Local historian Rick Geffken will lead this history program on Tuesday, February 11 at 7 p.m. Learn the details and aftermath of the surprise battle between the First Regiment of the Monmouth militia and British regulars during a cold winter’s night in 1777. Read more and register at mtpl.org.

Join a guided journaling session at Middletown Public Library on Friday, February 21 at 10:30 a.m. Marilyn Lane, an experienced journalist and educator, will lead this journaling session to help participants come into touch with what is flowing through their minds and see thoughts, intentions, wishes challenges, frustrations and memories revealed in writing.
