Free Seining Along Sandy Hook Bay Weekdays This Summer
From 11 a.m.-noon Monday, Wednesday and Fridays, June 24-August 23, there's free seining of the bay for kids in Bayshore Waterfront Park:

PORT MONMOUTH, NJ — Here is something nice (and free!) to do outdoors with kids this summer:
On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, June 24-August 23, from 11 a.m.-12 p.m., the Monmouth County Park System will host Seining Along Sandy Hook Bay at Bayshore Waterfront Park, located in the Port Monmouth section of Middletown.
Led by Park System naturalists, this program invites area residents to discover what lives and swims in the bay by pulling a long seining net through the water.

Designed for individuals and families, this free program is open to all ages, under 18 with adult.
Participants should meet on the beach near the parking lot. Closed-toe shoes are required. This offering is weather permitting.
