Free Water, Ice Offered In Middletown For Those Still Without Power
For those who still do not have electricity restored, JCP&L continues to give out free water and ice at the following locations Monday:
MIDDLETOWN, NJ — A fast-moving and violent storm knocked out electricity for more than 1,500 Jersey Central Power & Light (JCP&L) customers in Middletown Saturday.
For those who still do not have electricity restored as of Monday, June 24, JCP&L continues to give out free water and ice at the following locations in Middletown on Monday afternoon:
- Acme: 616 Newman Springs Rd., Lincroft
- Food Circus: 426 Route 36 and Wilson Ave., Port Monmouth
- Shop Rite: 1500 Route 35, Middletown
As of Monday afternoon, approximately 6,100 customers are still without electricity in Monmouth County, according to JCP&L's outage map.
