Police Charge Three With Heroin Possession in Middletown

Recent law enforcement activity according to criminal complaints

Middletown police reported three recent arrests for heroin possession and other drug offenses, according to criminal complaints lodged by authorities.

On Nov. 15, officers charged Adam T. Kurczeski, 32, of Monroe Township, with being under the influence of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia—a syringe and spoon used to cook the drug, according to the complaint signed by Middletown police.

Kurczeski also failed to properly dispose of four needles by placing them in the trash at a Dunkin Donuts, police charge.

He remains lodged in the Monmouth County Correctional Facility on a total of $5,600 bail total, no 10 percent option, according to records.

That same day, Holly S. Moyer, 35, of Middletown was charged with possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia, including a syringe and glassine envelopes used to contain the drug, according to the criminal complaint filed against her.

She remains in custody on $5,000 total bail, no 10 percent option, according to department of corrections records.

Days later, police charged Peter D. Christensen, 21, of Leonardo with possession of heroin, less than 50 grams of marijuana, a syringe, and a spoon used to cook heroin, the complaint reads.

The Nov. 17 complaint also alleges that Christensen took $500 worth of jewelry out of a car, possessed tools commonly used for theft, and attempted check forgery.

Christensen remains in custody on $17,500 total bail, no 10 percent option, according to department of corrections records.
