Keansburg Man Indicted on Charges Stemming from Middletown Burglaries

A 23-year-old man was indicted by a Monmouth County grand jury on multiple burglary and theft charges of two Middletown Township homes.

According to the indictment, Salvatore Cassaro, of Keansburg, allegedly entered the Middletown homes on Jan. 25 and Jan. 31. While in the homes Cassaro allegedly stole jewelry and pool equipment. The indictment indicates that the items reported stolen were valued in excess of $500.

Cassaro was indicted on two burglary charges and two theft of moveable property charges. Each charge is considered a third-degree crime, according to the indictment.
