Keansburg Third Grader Recognized As A Star Student

KEANSBURG, NJ — Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

This submission comes from Michelle Callahan, who nominated Alexandra, a third grader at Joseph Caruso Elementary School in Keansburg.

She is my neighbor's niece

Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?

I can't say enough about Alexandra. She is an exceptional, intelligent, compassionate, kind, caring, funny and extraordinary child. She is a young lady who tries to do anything to help others. She excels in everything she does as well as being in the gifted and talented class in school. Everyone who meets her loves her as well as her teachers.
