M’Town Pair Accused of Having Drug, Weapons Cache

Two Middletown residents are accused of possessing a drug and weapons stash that included cocaine, marijuana, ecstasy and assault rifles in the home they shared with two toddlers, according to an arrest warrant issued by the New Jersey State Police (NJSP).

Edwin L. Class Jr., 30, of Clubhouse Drive, and Michelle M. Galioto, 28, also of Clubhouse Drive, were arrested on Friday with over 15 drug, weapon and child endangerment charges levelled against each of them.

State troopers executed a search warrant on the residence following a joint investigation by the NJSP Troop 'D' Criminal Investigation Office, Maryland State Police McHenry Barracks, and .

Class and Galioto are accused of possessing an ounce of marijuana, four ounces of cocaine, over 300 Xanax pills, 129 Oxycodone pills, four ecstasy pills, five assault rifles, seven handguns, 34 high-capacity ammunition magazines. Court records indicate two of the weapons appear to have been stolen from Kentucky and Georgia residents.

Authorities say Class and Galioto's two children, age 3, were in the home along with the various drugs and firearms, adding child endangerment to the list of charges against them.

Both Class and Galioto have been remanded to the . Class’ bail was set at $762,000 for the 18 charges he faces, while Galioto’s bail was set to $730,000 for 17 charges.
