Middletown Firefighters, Police, EMS Do Stair Climb In 9/11 Memory
It will be held on the morning of Sept. 7 at the Middletown Life Time. Money raised will go to preserve the Middletown WTC Gardens.

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — The Middletown Life Time will host a stair climb on Sept. 7 to remember the victims of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
The stair climb is not open to the public: It is only only to first responders in the Middletown Township Fire, Police and EMS departments.
Every 30 minutes, nine first responders will climb 110 floors (on stair climbers), symbolizing the 110 floors of the World Trade Center. And yes, some of Middletown's firefighters will be doing this in full turnout (fire-fighting) gear.
