Middletown Girl A Star Student, And Gymnast
This fifth grader at St. Mary's Catholic school placed sixth in the nation when she competed with Elite Trampoline Academy, in Red Bank.
MIDDLETOWN, NJ — Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

Last year, Ara made it all the way to nationals with her gymnastics team at Elite Trampoline Academy in Red Bank. Out of 72 girls competing, Ara soared and placed sixth in the entire nation. And she’s only ten! When not doing gymnastics, Ara attends St. Mary Catholic School, where she is in the fifth grade, and a straight-A student.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?
One of my favorite things about Ara is that she makes sandwiches for the homeless
