Middletown North Basketball Coach Charged With Sex Assault Of Student
The Middletown High School North girls' basketball coach is accused of engaging in a sexual relationship with a student at the school.
MIDDLETOWN, NJ — The Middletown High School North girls’ basketball coach is accused of engaging in a sexual relationship with a student at the school, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago announced Wednesday.
Justin McGhee, 35, an Ocean Township resident, is charged with second-degree Sexual Assault and second-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
He is also a teacher at Middletown North: He is a health/physical education teacher and an assistant football coach at North. He has been placed on paid administrative leave by the Middletown school district.

The alleged criminal conduct by McGhee began late last year, allege Middletown Police. The prosecutor says McGhee engaged in sexual acts with the victim who is under the age of 18.
McGhee was arrested Tuesday and taken to the Monmouth County jail.
