Middletown Places Among NJ's Safest Towns

There are lots of words used to describe Middletown, and now residents can add another: safe.

That's the determination of Safewise, a home security website that recently compiled a list of New Jersey's 50 safest communities—including no. 47, Middletown Township.  

"A well trained police force, commitment to smart growth and appreciation for community history are just a few examples of what makes Middletown special," the article states.

Safewise also noted the "wealth of activities" available to residents of all ages.

"Colonial tea parties, kids’ contests celebrating important Middletown women, an adult-only time capsule review party, and a host of community concerts are just a few examples of the diverse celebrations Middletown residents will enjoy," the article states.
