Middletown Police Blotter: Simple Assault, Theft, and Shoplifting

The following events occurred between Tuesday, June 19 and Tuesday, June 26.

The provides a blotter of recent police activities on a regular basis. The reports below are reprinted unedited from the release prepared by Detective Lieutenant Stephen Dollinger.

  • Brian Seward, age 49, from Shore Boulevard in Keansburg, NJ, arrested on June 20, 2012 by Patrolman Adam Vendetti for Theft. He was released pending a court date.
  • Patricia Bulinsky, age 40, from Oregon Avenue in Middletown, NJ, arrested on June 19, 2012 by Patrolman Albert Scott for Simple Assault. She was released pending a court date.
  • Jonathan Harris, age 57, from Monmouth Avenue in Leonardo, NJ, arrested on June 19, 2012 by Patrolman Albert Scott for Simple Assault. He was released pending a court date.
  • Brian Seward, age 49, from Shore Boulevard in Keansburg, NJ, arrested on June 20, 2012 by Patrolman Adam Vendetti for Theft. He was released pending a court date.
  • Bruce Tyson, age 45, from Apollo Drive in Ocean, NJ, arrested on June 21, 2012 by Detective Daniel Sullivan for Theft. He was released pending a court date.
  • Francis Hemberger, age 45, from Melrose Place in Middletown, NJ, arrested on June 21, 2012 by Detective Laurence Schachtel for Theft. He was released pending a court date.
  • Thomas MacArthur, age 21, from Eighth Street in Belford, NJ, arrested on June 24, 2012 by Patrolman Stephen Greenwood for Simple Assault. He was released pending a court date.
  • Cameron McBurney, age 19, from Jumping Brook Road in Middletown, NJ, arrested on June 23, 2012 by Patrolman Andrew Micalizzi for Shoplifting from the Whole Foods Store. He was released pending a court date.
  • Melissa Lasaki, age 18, from Main Street in Port Monmouth, NJ, arrested on June 25, 2012 by Corporal Bernie Chenoweth for Simple Assault. He was released pending a court date.
  • Theresa Delorenzo, age 53, from Weakes Avenue in Riverside, NJ, arrested on June 25, 2012 by Police Officer Janine Kennedy for Simple Assault. She was released pending a court date.

The information concerning the above arrests was obtained directly from the Middletown Township Police Department's records. While all suspects have been arrested and charged with the named offenses, convictions depend on the outcome of court appearances. All are presumed innocent until proven guilty in that court of law.
