Middletown South Grad, Lunch Break Volunteer Dies at 21
A tribute for Najee Franklin Alexobert Bailey will be held at noon on Friday, June 14 at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church in Red Bank.

Najee Franklin Alexobert Bailey, 21, of Middletown passed away on June 3 in Daytona Beach, Fla.
Bailey was born in Long Branch but as a 2009 graduate of Middletown High School South where he was a member of the chess and computer clubs as well as the soccer and track teams, according to his obituary on legacy.com. He was a senior at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University majoring in Aerospace Engineering.
Bailey was described in his obituary as “loving,” “kind” and "generous." He volunteered at Lunch Break while in high school. In college, as a member of the Alpha Phi Omega fraturnity, he helped those in need in the Daytona area. He gave annually to the giving tree during the holidays, saved money to send to St. Pius X in Kingston, Jamaica and donated items to children in need.

A tribute will be held at noon on Friday, June 14 followed by a mass at 2 p.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 121, Bridge Ave., Red Bank.
