The Middletown Stop & Shop on Rt. 35 just sold a lottery ticket that won big Monday, splitting the $1,108,388 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot:
MIDDLETOWN, NJ — The Middletown Stop & Shop on Rt. 35 just sold a lottery ticket that won big Monday, splitting the $1,108,388 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot.
This was just announced here Tuesday morning by the NJ State Lottery.
That ticket matched all five numbers drawn in the Monday, March 11 drawing. An identical winning ticket was also sold in West Orange, so the two tickets will split the $1,108,388 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot. Each ticket is worth $554,194.

The winning numbers were: 08, 22, 25, 33 and 35 and the XTRA number was: 02. Those tickets were sold at the following locations:
- Essex County: Shoprite Essex Green SC, 495 Prospect Ave., West Orange
- Monmouth County: Stop & Shop, Rt. 35 south and Twin Brook Rd., Middletown
Both those stores will receive a $2,000 bonus check for selling the winning ticket.
